Abbreviation Expansion

Abbreviations can be entered to expand to a word, phrase, or sentence without having to enter the entire word, phrase, or sentence. This can save the user time and effort.

1. Select Menu and Edit Abbreviations.

2. Select the plus + to add an abbreviation.  

3. In the space under Abbreviation, type the abbreviated form.

4. In the space under Expands to, type the full word, phrase, or sentence that it will expand to.

5. Select Save and .

6. To test the abbreviation, go to your vocabulary keyboard page and enter the abbreviation followed by a period. The abbreviation should expand.
