If the synthesized voice is pronouncing a word incorrectly, you can change it. This procedure changes pronunciations for the current voice. If you select a different voice, the changes will not apply to the new voice.
Go to Menu > Toolbox > User Settings > Voice. Then select Main Voice or Prompt Voice.
Select Edit a Pronunciation.
Select the Enter word field to open a keyboard. Enter the word you want to correct and select the keyboard Finished button.
Select the Enter phonetic spelling field to open a keyboard. Enter a phonetic spelling for the word. Select the keyboard Finished button. To listen to the pronunciation, select the play
button.Select Add. The word and its phonetic spelling will appear below the entry fields.
Repeat steps 3, 4, and 5 for each pronunciation you want to add.
Note: If you need to remove a pronunciation, select the delete
button.When you finish adding pronunciations, select Close to close the Pronunciation window.
Select Finished to close the Voice window.
