Display Settings
Go to Menu > Application Settings > System > Display Settings.
Brightness
Brightness provides a slide bar for manually setting the brightness or an option to have the system automatically set the brightness. If you prefer the device to adjust the brightness automatically, check the Automatic Brightness option.
Screen Timeout
Screen Timeout determines the amount of time it takes for the screen to turn off automatically after a period of inactivity. Options range from 15 seconds to 1 hour. The default time is 10 minutes.
Volume Settings
Disabling Volume Buttons
Other people may intentionally or inadvertently adjust the volume of your device to a level that affects your ability to communicate. The setting Disable Device Volume Buttons gives you more control over setting and maintaining the volume level.
When the setting Disable Device Volume Buttons is turned on, the device volume buttons will not adjust the volume while you are using the Chat software. When you exit the Chat software, the buttons will adjust the volume normally.
Go to Menu > Application Settings > System.
Select the checkbox to the right of Disable Device Volume Buttons.
Exit Application Settings.
Now when you press the device volume buttons, they will no longer adjust the volume while using the Chat software.
