During air travel and in some medical facilities, you may need to put the device in Airplane mode. The option you use to activate Airplane mode depends on the version of Android on the device.
To turn Airplane mode on:
Option 1: Go to the Android home page and swipe down from the top of the screen. On some devices, you may need to swipe down twice. The Airplane mode icon shows that Airplane mode is turned off 
. Select the icon to turn Airplane mode on 
.
Option 2: Open the Android Settings and select Airplane mode in the left pane. The setting in the right pane shows OFF. Select the setting to change it to ON.
Option 3: Press and hold the device’s power button. Airplane mode shows “Airplane mode is OFF”. Select Airplane mode. “Airplane mode is ON” will appear.
