Important: The features in this section apply to non-dedicated (unlocked) devices only. You cannot download, open, or delete apps on a dedicated device.
Use and Reset the Active Key
Default Active key settings:
The Active key allows you to quickly open the Chat software or another favorite app.
Press the Active key button once to open the Chat software, no matter what other apps are running at that time.
Press and hold the Active key button to open the Calendar app immediately.
Changing the Active key settings:
Go to the Android Settings.
Select Advanced features and select Active key.
Select Press to open a list of apps.
Note: “Use while screen locked” is turned off by default.
Select Press to list the apps on your device.
Select the app you want to open when you press the Active key once.
Select Press and Hold and select the app you want to open when you press and hold the Active key.
Remove Downloaded Apps and Files
Note: If you suspect that the device user may have downloaded new apps that should be deleted from the system, contact PRC-Saltillo’s Service department for details.
Images can be removed manually by selecting the Gallery App and deleting the images and image albums.
Photos taken with the device’s camera can be removed by selecting the Photos app and deleting them.
Music that has been added to the device can be removed by selecting the Music app and deleting each song.
Videos that have been added to the device can be removed by selecting the Video app and deleting each video.
