Whiteboards can be used for drawing, collaborating, and sharing. To create a whiteboard page, create a new page that has a large button and select the Whiteboard button action.
Note: WordPower vocabularies already include a whiteboard page. Go to Groups > School > Whiteboard.
Create a Whiteboard Page
If the vocabulary doesn’t include a Whiteboard page, use the following steps to create a new page.
Go to the page that you want to link to your whiteboard page.
Select Menu > Edit Mode.
Select and hold the button you want to link to the whiteboard and select Edit Button. The Button Properties will be displayed.
Select an image for the button.
Enter a label for the button.
Select the Actions tab and tap the dropdown menu
to open a list of actions.Select Navigate.
Select Template from the bottom of the screen.
Enter a name for the new page. For example: My Whiteboard.
Select Save. “Navigate (My Whiteboard, No Animation)” will be displayed below “Add an action”.
Note: Speech Message may also be in the Action listing. If you don't want the button that links to Whiteboard to speak, select Speech Message and then select Remove.
Select Save again.
Go to your new My Whiteboard page.
Select and hold the upper left empty button and select Change Button Size to enlarge the button to your preferred size by adding the appropriate numbers of vertical and horizontal cells.
Note: You won't want to overwrite the column of buttons that contains the Home and Go Back buttons.
Select Save.
Select and hold the large button, select the Actions tab, and select the dropdown menu
to open a list of actions.Scroll down the list and select Whiteboard. A message will warn that the Whiteboard action will remove all other actions on the button.
Select Yes to close the message. Whiteboard will be displayed below “Add action”.
Select Save.
Exit Edit Mode.
The whiteboard is ready to use.
Whiteboard Tools

| This tool toggles between the pencil and eraser. It defaults to pencil so drawing is possible immediately upon opening the page. When the eraser is chosen, instead of erasing anything you move it over, when tapping the screen it erases the last addition. |
| Use the line thickness tool to make lines thick or thin. Simply select the tool to change the size. |
| Use the color tool to change the color of the next line you draw. Choose the tool to open a palette of colors. Tap the color you want. |
| Select the undo tool to undo your last addition. Tap undo multiple times to remove each addition. |
| Use the erase all tool to erase your entire drawing and start over. |
| Use the save tool to save your drawing to view or work on again later. When you select the tool, a window will show a default name with the date and time. Change the name as needed and choose Save. You can save as many drawings as you want. |
| Use this tool to select a saved drawing to view, edit, or delete. Tap the tool to open a pictorial list of your saved drawings. Select the drawing you want. Open and Delete options are displayed. Select Open to view or edit the drawing. Or tap Delete to delete the drawing permanently. |
