Add or Remove Languages

When you opened the app for the first time, you selected one or two language/voice combinations. You can add or remove languages any time.

Add a Language/Region

Select Vocab and Choose New Vocab. The vocabulary list opens.
Select Menu and Language & Region. The Language & Region window shows the languages that are currently in your vocabulary list.
Select the plus + at the top right to open a list of all available language/regions.
Select one or more language/regions you want to add.
Select the checkmark . The language will be added to the list. Select the language from the list to view available vocabulary files for that language.

From the vocabulary page, select Menu > Settings and scroll to the Speech section.
Select the language/region for which you want to choose a new voice.
Note: The default voice appears to the right of the language/region.
Select the default voice at the top of the voice window to open a list of available voices for that language.
Select the play button next to a voice to preview it. Select a voice from the list.
Note: You can also create your own voice by selecting the Choose Custom Voice option at the bottom of the list.
Select the back arrow to return to the Settings window. Then select the checkmark .

Select Vocab and Choose New Vocab. The vocabulary list opens.
Select Menu and Language & Region. The Language & Region window shows the languages that are currently in your vocabulary list.
Select Edit. A red icon appears in front of each language/region.
Select the red icon next to the language/region you want to delete. Delete will appear.
Select Delete.
At the prompt, select Yes to delete the language from the vocabulary list, or select No if you don’t want to delete the language along with all original vocabulary files and voices.
Select Done. Then select the checkmark .
