Create Profiles for Different Settings

Profiles provide a snapshot of the current settings to be saved for easy access at a later time. You can save multiple profiles to be used when needed. Creating multiple profiles allows you to switch between groups of customized settings that are used frequently for different individuals.

Create and Save a Profile

  1. Configure the settings you want associated with the profile. This includes the vocabulary file, settings, etc.

  2. Select Menu > Settings > Save Profile. The Profile Name window will open.  

  3. Tap in the Profile Name field to open a keyboard.

  4. Enter a name for the profile (for example, “Mary’s Profile”).

  5. Select Save. A profile will be created for Mary with all the current settings.

    Note: To create a second profile (for example, “John’s Profile”), repeat these steps, making new settings changes to associate with this profile.

Load a Profile from the Menu

To load a profile that you previously created:

  1. Select Menu > Settings > Load Profile. Profiles that you have created will be listed.

  2. Select the profile you want. The associated settings will be loaded.

Rename or Delete a Profile

  1. Select Menu > Settings > Load Profile. Profiles that you have created will be listed.  

  2. Select Edit. A red DeleteIcon icon will appear to the left of each profile name.

  3. Select the red DeleteIcon icon for the profile you want to rename. Rename and Delete buttons will appear.

  4. Rename or delete the profile.

    To rename the profile: Select Rename, enter the new name in the Profile Name field, and select Save.

    To delete the profile: Select Delete. The profile will be deleted immediately.

  5. Select .

Modify a Profile

  1. Make the changes you want associated with the profile.

  2. Select Menu > Settings > Save Profile. The Profile Name window will open.

  3. Tap in the Profile Name field to open a keyboard.

  4. Enter the profile’s original name and select Save. A message will inform you that the file name already exists.  

  5. Select Yes. The changes will be saved.

  6. Select .
