When you turn the Dynamic Grammar Labels setting on in a custom vocabulary file, button labels will show the changes that will be made to words when different grammar states are applied. You might find this feature useful when a certain plural form of a noun or verb is missing. By default, the Dynamic Grammar Labels setting is turned off.
Select Menu and select Vocabulary Settings.
Toggle ON Dynamic Grammar Labels.
Select the checkmark
to save your settings.
Example 1: A vocabulary that includes grammar state buttons.
When the Dynamic Grammar Labels setting is off, each button will change the word in the SDB to the grammatical form you selected, and the label on each button will remain the same.

Example 2: A vocabulary that does not include grammar state buttons.
Create a button that will change the word in the SDB to the grammatical form you selected. See “Add a Grammar Action to a Button”.
If you select the new button when Dynamic Grammar Labels is on, the label on the button will change to show the form the word will take if that button is selected.
