Load a Vocabulary File
Select Vocab and Choose New Vocab. A page will list the available vocabulary files.
Customized files are listed under My Files. All other files are organized by language. To make sure that you are working with the latest version of a vocabulary file, view the Modified date and time that appear after the vocabulary name. A checkmark indicates the vocabulary file that was previously selected.

Tip: You can either scroll to see all available vocabularies or search for a specific file. To search for a file, drag down on the list to reveal the search
icon and search bar above the list. Tap the search bar to open a keyboard and enter a complete or partial vocabulary name.Select the vocabulary file you want to load.
Once loaded, explore the pages and button organization by choosing the buttons.
Note: If you plan to customize a vocabulary file, you must first make a copy of it. See Copy a Vocabulary File below.
Copy a Vocabulary File
To customize a vocabulary file, you must first make a copy of the original file. Once you make a copy, you can edit the copy. This keeps the original file in place in case it is needed at another time.
Select an original vocabulary file from the library menu list.
Note: The globe
icon indicates you can choose a specific region for this vocabulary.Select Customize. The Copy Vocab window opens.
Add a new title and description for the copied vocabulary file and choose a region if that is an option for this vocabulary.
Select Save.
Note: Copied vocabulary files are automatically saved under “My Files” at the top of the vocabulary list. All other vocabulary files are categorized by language.
Create a New Blank Vocabulary File
Select Vocab and Choose New Vocab.
Select Menu and Create New Vocab.
Give the new vocabulary file a title and description.
Select Save.
Find the new file you created in the list of available vocabularies and select the file to open it.
Select Menu and Edit Page. A page of blank locations opens.
For each blank button, select Create New Button or Copy Existing Button.
When you finish, select Done. You have created the first page of your new vocabulary.
Rename a Customized Vocabulary File
You can only rename your custom vocabulary files that are saved under “My Files” at the top of the vocabulary list.
Select Vocab and Choose New Vocab. A page will list the available vocabulary files.
Select Edit. A red
icon will be displayed for each custom vocabulary file.Select the red
icon next to the file you want to rename. Rename and Delete buttons will appear.Select Rename. The Rename window opens.
Tap in the name field to open the keyboard.
Enter the new name, select Save and Done.
Delete a Customized Vocabulary File
You can only delete custom vocabulary files that are saved under “My Files” at the top of the vocabulary list.
Select Vocab and Choose New Vocab. A page will list the available vocabulary files.
Select Edit. A red
icon will be displayed for each custom vocabulary file.Select the red
icon next to the file you want to delete. Rename and Delete buttons will appear.Select Delete and select Continue at the Delete Vocabulary message.
Note: If you did not intend to delete this vocabulary file, choose Cancel.
Select Done.
Note: To prevent yourself from accidentally deleting a customized file, select Menu > Settings and scroll to the Editing section. Make sure that the option Allow Vocabulary Deletion is turned off. Turn this setting on only if you are sure you want to delete a specific customized vocabulary file.
Select the Language for a New Vocabulary File
Select Vocab and Choose New Vocab.
Select Menu and Create New Vocab. The new Vocab window will open.
Give the new vocabulary file a title and description.
Tap the Language field. A list of languages will open.
Select the language you want for the vocabulary.
Select Save.
Change the Language for a Vocabulary File
You can only make changes to custom vocabulary files that are saved under “My Files” at the top of the vocabulary list.
Select Vocab and Choose New Vocab. A page will list the available vocabulary files.
Select Edit. A red
icon will be displayed for each custom vocabulary file.Select the red
icon next to the file for which you want to change the language. Rename and Delete buttons will appear.Select Rename. The Rename window opens.
Select the language you want for the vocabulary.
If you only want to change the vocabulary language, keep the same name for the vocabulary file. If you want to change both the vocabulary language and name, enter a new name for the vocabulary.
Select Save and Done.
